What is Wellness?
At Speaking life, we believe in looking at the whole person and focusing on a low toxin lifestyle in order to improve outcomes of therapy and improve quality of life. It’s so important to take into account, movement, nutrition, stress management, and decreasing toxin exposure. Then it’s time for wellness coaching!
Wellness coaching is a specialized form of coaching that focuses on helping individuals improve their overall well-being and quality of life. During our 3 and 6 month coaching programs, we collaborate with clients to identify their goals, develop action plans, and provide support and accountability as they work towards achieving those goals.
Here are some key aspects of wellness coaching:
- Holistic Approach: Wellness coaching takes a holistic approach to health and well-being, we consider various aspects of your life, including physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual dimensions.
- Goal Setting: We work with you to identify their specific wellness goals, whether it’s improving fitness, managing stress, adopting healthier eating habits, enhancing relationships, or finding more balance in life.
- Action Planning: Once goals are established, we help you create realistic and achievable action plans to make progress towards those goals. This may involve breaking down goals into smaller, manageable steps and identifying potential obstacles.
- Support and Accountability: Wellness coaches provide ongoing support, encouragement, and accountability to their clients. We serve as a source of motivation and guidance, helping clients stay on track and navigate challenges along the way.
- Behavioral Change: A key focus of wellness coaching is facilitating behavioral change. We help our clients identify unhealthy habits and patterns, explore alternative behaviors, and develop strategies to make lasting lifestyle changes.
- Education and Resources: We also provide clients with education and resources related to nutrition, exercise, stress management, sleep hygiene, mindfulness, and other aspects of well-being.
- Client-Centered Approach: Wellness coaching is client-centered, meaning the coaching process is tailored to the individual needs, preferences, and values of each client. We respect your autonomy and empower you to take ownership of their health and well-being.
